So there I was, sitting at my favourite Bandra cafe (Suzette)… thinking, over a plateful of Mini Chocolate Caramel Tarts (Yum!!) & a cup of Nutalatte (Sigh…), that now is as good a time as any, to start writing about one thing that makes me truly happy… Food!

I love to eat & I love to cook. You know how some run or paint or write to get it out of their system… I cook!

My love affair with food started way back when! I come from a family of people who love food…. And love to feed! My grandmothers, both maternal and paternal were excellent cooks who loved entertaining & cooking for family, friends, neighbours… anybody! Ma is an adventurous foodie, though a somewhat temperamental cook!

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from these 3 women is to cook with my heart & spread love through food.

So last year, I decided to take the plunge. I took time off from work, enrolled in a baking course & baked & cooked every chance I got. And it was awesome!

The kitchen was my Lab & my family, friends (& some of my husband’s colleagues), my Guinea Pigs.

So with my favourite music on my laptop, the recipe ready on the right page / blog / website / in my head, I began “My Experiments with Food”. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn’t… but I was learning along the way… I still am…

And I invite you to join me & we can learn, experiment & create together!

Welcome To My Kitchen!

    • Yup! A large dollop of Nutella in a mug with Latte poured over it… Mmmmmmm! Divine! And then the Nutella gets all melted & gooey… You’ve got me craving for one now 😛 Anyway I’m sure you’ll like it… You’re a Nutella fan too!
